Job summary

Helicopter Jobs is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to maintain and repair company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives. You will verify part numbers, document work, and participate in safety and process improvements while supporting 24/7 on‑call rotations and travel as needed.

The role requires 2–5 years of related maintenance experience, an FAA A&P license, and familiarity with RAMCO ERP; strong communication and teamwork are essential

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience required.
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
• FAR 135 operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components per procedures, ADs, and FARs.
• Verifies part numbers and serial numbers against documentation.
• Maintains documentation in compliance with regulations and manuals.
• Participates in Safety Management System (SMS) programs and follows SMS procedures.
• Maintains clean, professional work area; addresses safety/compliance issues.
• Advises PIC of maintenance issues that would remove an aircraft from service.
• Manages status reporting data for the aircraft worked on.
• Requests aviation parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
