Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on company airplanes in compliance with FARs and manuals. The role requires loading parts, verifying part numbers, and documenting maintenance actions. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork is expected.

The position involves on-call rotations, travel support for 135 operations, and a flexible schedule, with duties including 24/7 on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of related aircraft maintenance experience required.
• FAA A&P license is required.
• Factory airframe/powerplant training preferred (optional).

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components per procedures, directives, and FARs.
• Verifies part numbers/serials against documentation on installation/removal.
• Ensures maintenance documentation complies with FARs and manuals.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and participates in SMS improvement.
