Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff, supervise repair, inspection, alteration, and modification of aircraft, and manage manpower, workloads, parts, tools, and supplies.

The ideal candidate holds FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses with at least two years of large aircraft maintenance experience, including one year as an A&P mechanic, and demonstrates strong communication and cost-efficiency focus.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Licenses required.
• Two years of large aircraft maintenance experience, including one year as an A&P Mechanic.
• Ability to evaluate, praise, and provide accountability to team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual and CFRs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff in repair, inspection, alteration, and modification on the aircraft.
• Make "real time" decisions that affect the company’s performance.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment within FAA and OSHA guidelines.
• Develop procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
