Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in scheduling manpower, workloads, and parts for daily operations. The role requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant License and at least one year as an A&P mechanic, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

The supervisor will oversee repair, inspection, alteration, and modification work, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive efficiency while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Must possess FAA Airframe and Powerplant Licenses
• Two years of experience in the maintenance of large aircraft, including one year as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CFRs knowledge

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff in repair, inspection, alteration, and modification of aircraft
• Make real-time decisions affecting company performance
• Maintain a safe, efficient work environment compliant with FAA and OSHA guidelines
• Develop procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs
