Piedmont Airlines is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor to lead the Parts/Stores function in the Maintenance Department. The role reports to the Manager, Aircraft Parts.

Primary responsibilities include supervising staff, monitoring production quality, and maintaining documentation. The position requires knowledge of aviation terminology, HAZMAT handling, supervisory capability, and familiarity with CFRs and maintenance procedures.

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor in our Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to supervise all Aircraft Parts/Stores activities and functions. This position will report to the Manager, Aircraft Parts.

Essential Duties:

• Ensure efficient utilization of assigned personnel
• Monitor quality and quantity of production and guarantee cleanliness of facilities
• Provide training and maintain documentation; confirm employee qualifications
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulation

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

• Knowledge of company data programs and aviation terminology
• Trained in HAZMAT shipping and handling
• Demonstrate supervisory ability and technical knowledge required to perform the duties of this assignment
• Knowledge of accounting procedures as it relates to materials management
• Knowledge of appropriate sections of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual, including applicable provisions of CFR's

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an AircraftParts/Stores Clerk

Work Environment:

• Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
• Airport ramp/warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
• All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
• Handle objects up to 70 pounds regulary, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from co-workers or tools
