Job summary

Textron Aviation internship in Wichita, KS offers hands-on experience while exploring interests and building new skills. You’ll work on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success and receive mentorship, training, and development opportunities.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, onsite at US-Kansas-Wichita. Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related engineering fields is expected.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and provide solutions to a complex inspection related maintenance issues.
• Follow established procedures for collecting, organizing, and analyzing product data, researching inspection task findings, technical issues related to inspection programs, component reliability, product enhancements, service documents, etc.
• Position requires frequent internal customer contact.
• Represent Product Support on specific internal and cross-functional projects.
• Analyze special product support problem areas and evaluate various alternatives of meeting these needs.
• Find the best possible solution for product changes, maintenance program modifications or procedural changes using strategy agility.
