Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to advise the Superintendent on technical matters and lead a mission-focused maintenance effort. You will manage resources, ensure qualified personnel perform maintenance, and maintain safety and quality documentation across shifts.

The role requires 5–8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years aircraft maintenance experience related to contract performance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain required qualifications, certifications, licensing, or security clearance.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift or schedule.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Enforces adherence to technical data and procedures.
• Adjusts resources to meet production requirements.
• Assigns supervisory coverage for each shift.
• Maintains the SCR (special certification roster).
• Ensures accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions.
• Advises production supervisor of disruptions to the maintenance plan.
• Participates in the maintenance planning cycle.
• Ensures only qualified personnel perform maintenance with the proper equipment and tools.
• Complies with safety directives and occupational health standards.
• Establishes procedures to minimize foreign object damage and dropped objects.
