Job summary

Amentum is seeking a skilled logistics and maintenance professional to manage tool room operations and hazardous materials programs within an aircraft maintenance environment. You will oversee inventories, issue TMDE and tools, and ensure compliance with safety and government guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating vehicle fleets, maintenance scheduling, and data collection on inspections and repairs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable Government documents, directives, and technical orders is desired.
• Familiarity with FED Log system is desired.
• Proficient in the use of computers.
• Working knowledge of inventory and inventory control procedures is a must.
• Knowledge of the Standard Base Supply System, repair cycle system is required.
• Knowledge of MIS/SBSS interface or related computer experience is required.
• Must have a working knowledge of 781 series forms.

Responsibilities

• Tool Management: Manage all aspects of the tool room stocking, controls, and tool inventories.
• Issue tools, TOs, TMDE and support equipment from the tool room.
• Manage CA/CRL custody and related records.
• Hazmat and Hazardous Waste Control, ensure compliance with policies and spill response equipment.
• Order chemicals and oils through Hazmat Pharmacy.
• Manage the -21 program as listed on AF Form 2692.
• Provide program status briefings to Program Manager/Director.
• May conduct flight line/hangar FOD prevention walks and housekeeping.
• Vehicle Fleet Management: ensure vehicles are clean and serviceable.
• Document vehicle malfunctions on AF Form 1800 and file monthly.
• Request quotes for maintenance from service contractors; submit requisitions.
• Ensure periodic vehicle maintenance; service per manufacturer schedule.
• Vehicles washed and waxed per AFI 24-302 and TO 36-1-191-WA-1.
• Collect historical data on vehicle inspections, maintenance, and insurances.
• Manage tools and equipment for assigned vehicles.
• Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
