Job summary

TransMedics, Inc. is hiring an Aviation Flight Scheduler for our 24/7 Command Center in Andover, MA.

You will plan and coordinate aircraft schedules, manage crew assignments, and ensure all flight operations run smoothly from mission start to finish. Responsibilities include handling flight requests, optimizing crew and aircraft utilization, and coordinating with Dispatch and Maintenance while maintaining compliance with FARs and company policies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in aviation, crew management, or customer service required.
• Strong personal and work ethics with high integrity.
• Knowledge of FARs for Part 91/135 operations.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
• Ability to work quickly, calmly, and under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with industry-specific software and tools; willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming flight requests and coordinate scheduling.
• Schedule crews, including replacements for training, illness, PTO, or additional days.
• Assist Dispatch with flight cancellations or reroutes.
• Determine most efficient mission completion with available aircraft and crew.
• Select aircraft and crew for flight requests.
• Ensure hangar availability and plan for weather impacts.
• Coordinate NOTAMs, weather, and alternate airports as needed.
• Monitor crew duty times to comply with regulations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for aircraft maintenance, repositioning, and test flights.
• Ensure logs and records for aircraft and crew are completed daily.
