Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is hiring a Challenger Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (11:00) in Perryville, MO. This role involves maintaining and repairing aircraft, troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensuring compliance with FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0-2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I.
• 2-4 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT II.
• 4-6+ years aviation maintenance experience for AMT III.
• 6+ years aviation maintenance experience for AMT IV (Master).

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fueling aircraft and engine removal/installations.
• Operate ground support equipment and inspect aircraft.
