Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Distribution/Logistics Supervisor to manage the warehousing and distribution centers for outsourced component parts. You will design automated solutions to decentralize warehousing activities, implement CI processes, and oversee a team to ensure safe handling, timely shipping, and accurate inventory control of parts across domestic and international operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years work experience in warehousing and distribution, supply chain or logistics.
• Related aviation operations experience is preferred.
• Must obtain Dangerous Goods certification within six months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehousing and distribution operations including receiving, binning, shipping, and maintaining serviceable and unserviceable parts.
• Handle hazardous materials including domestic and international shipping.
• Direct distribution of all parts including AOG/AOM shipments.
• Maintain accurate bin balances through transactions and inventories.
• Apply Lean processes within the warehouse location.
• Oversee internal audits related to facilities safety, shelf life, ESD, tooling and bin maintenance.
