Job summary

Thunderbird Aviation in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Line Services Manager to lead ramp and line operations, oversee fuel, towing, de-icing, and hangar activities, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or related field, 3+ years of leadership in FBO/aviation ops, strong communication, and proficiency with FBO management systems and MS Office. Must be flexible and available for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in FBO or aviation ground operations.
• Proven experience managing audits and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in FBO management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop line supervisors and technicians across shifts.
• Direct ramp operations including marshaling, fueling, towing, de-icing, and hangar management.
• Oversee scheduling, resources, and SOPs; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Support audits, adjust plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Foster strong relationships with pilots, flight departments, and clients.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and capital expenditure recommendations.
