Job summary

VT Volant is seeking a Sales Manager to generate sales of aircraft cabin interior parts and related services to Boeing and Airbus customers. The role involves networking with lessors, airlines, MROs, OEMs, and brokers, researching fair market value, and responding to RFQs/proposals with strong follow-up.

Strong communication skills are essential for interaction with customers, vendors, and internal staff. Experience selling to airlines and established airline contacts is preferred for success in

Qualifications

• Aerospace Cabin Interior engineering, manufacturing or MRO sales experience is preferred.
• Experience in sales to Lessors, Airlines, MROs, OEMs, and/or Brokers preferred
• Knowledge of ERP Software, MS Office Apps

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish contact with potential new accounts (airlines, leasing companies, MROs, OEMs, brokers).
• Maintain relationships with customers to develop new business.
• Follow industry trends to identify new sales opportunities.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
• Receive inquiries and RFPs and develop proposal/quote responses.
• Provide proposals/quotes and follow up diligently.
• Negotiate, think quickly, adapt, and be creative.
• Identify customer requirements and deliver solutions to close.
• Demonstrate knowledge of customer fleets and industry context.
• Build a track record of new customers and cold calling.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Create first-call rapport and manage multiple communication channels.
• Implement a system for daily and monthly goals.
• Travel up to 25% for visits/trade shows (NA).
