Job summary

Western Aircraft seeks an Interior Sales Manager to drive sales of interior refurbishment and modification projects on business and Special Mission Aircraft. You will develop proposals, design schemes, and quotes, while building relationships with OEMs and suppliers to maximize profitability.

Based in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones, you will collaborate with the MRO Sales team, travel to meet customers, and ensure accurate costing and timely quotes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate interior completions experience, preferably VIP interiors
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in an interior or completion shop
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft interior completion, production and manufacturing operations
• Familiarity with vendors, regulations and procedures for interior completes
• Ability to read, understand and utilize blueprints in fabrication
• Experience with interior install including removing/replacing components
• Experience with paint, wood finishing, and soft goods preferred
• Strong customer service and executive presence

Responsibilities

• Liaison with Western Aircraft clientele on all interior program design projects and travel to meet customers
• Work with MRO Sales team to identify interior business and close sales
• Generate proposals and quotes for interior refurbishment projects
• Assemble work packages/SOWs based on customer needs
• Research and cost parts, labor, and outside services for each project
• Ensure quotes are accurate and support profitability targets
• Maintain costing data and reference materials for interior goods
• Develop relationships with OEM and vendor partners to minimize cost and maximize profitability
• Upsell products and services where possible
• Maintain customer and opportunity data in Salesforce.com
• Stay current with industry trends and share with the MRO Sales team
