Job summary

Garmin International is seeking a full-time Aviation Instructional Designer 2 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will lead the design, prioritization, and development of training products for customers, guiding projects that maximize reach and impact across Garmin Aviation. You will develop low-to moderately complex web-based content, courseware, and multimedia aids, plan new pilot and maintenance training programs, and coordinate with SMEs and OEM partners to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher required with strong instructional design background.
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in aviation training or education.
Experience in developing aviation training programs and content for pilots, maintenance personnel, or related roles.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of web-based content, interactive courseware, and multimedia materials.
Plan and develop pilot and maintenance training programs and syllabi for new avionics or services.
Coordinate with Garmin and OEM partners to support training programs.
Guide and mentor junior designers and developers on processes and tools.
Ensure training programs align with internal and external customer needs and timelines.
