Job summary

Menzies Aviation seeks an HR Coordinator in Virginia to support recruitment, employee relations and HR operations. You will review applications, coordinate postings, conduct interviews, and assist with onboarding and benefits enrollment.

Ideal candidates have a degree or relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage documentation and compliance across HR processes.

Qualifications

• Computer literate with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or two-year college/technical school or 3+ years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities related to HR in a specific area (recruitment, employee relations).
• Comply with attendance/tardiness standards.
• Screen and interview applicants to obtain work history, education and salary requirements.
• Develop and coordinate internal postings and job ads across media.
• Participate in job fairs and coordinate displays.
• Perform reference and background checks on applicants.
• Conduct new employee orientation and assist with benefits enrollment.
• Maintain personnel records and company health, safety and welfare rules.
