Job summary

AGI Ground Inc. seeks an HR Generalist to manage human resources at the Phoenix station, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and workers' compensation.

This role serves as the primary employee contact for employment matters and ensures regulatory compliance across local HR activities. The ideal candidate will coordinate orientation, maintain personnel records, and support payroll and related administrative tasks as needed, while partnering with the station manager on

Qualifications

• Must stay current on employment laws and reporting requirements.
• Strong interview and selection skills for station hiring decisions.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to pass background and airport security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensures compliance.
• Makes all hiring decisions for the stations.
• Creates and maintains recruiting network with colleges, academies, and public agencies to source applicants.
• Plan and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
• Keeps records of benefits plans participation and personnel transactions for regulatory reporting.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Develops recruitment strategies with station manager to meet staffing levels.
• Interviews and selects qualified applicants while managing background verification and orientation.
