Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level I in SeaTac, WA. You will repair and maintain ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and pushbacks, and perform diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Candidates must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., provide their own tools, and have 1–2 years of verified experience. Flexibility for night/weekend shifts and pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
• 1-2 years of verified experience required
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
• Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain ground service equipment (tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, trucks, etc.)
• Log repair work and equipment numbers with detailed descriptions
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair or modify engines, transmissions, brakes, bumpers, undercarriages, tires
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
• Test operations of ground equipment and verify performance
• Complete required paperwork and track parts
• Adhere to safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
