ALVEST, via its TLD division, is seeking an Area Service Technician in New York to troubleshoot, repair, and service ground support equipment for aviation clients. You will work on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, performing repairs and supporting training activities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of service repair experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, a valid driver's license, and the willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• 2+ years of repair/maintenance experience on vehicles or equipment.
• Familiarity with diesel powered vehicles preferred.
• Must read and understand repair manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems on Ground Support Equipment.
• Perform repairs and adjustments to electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Prepare reports and follow up on trouble tickets.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and tools.
