Job summary

StandardAero is hiring a Mobile Service Technician for the New York area. The role supports field service activities on gas turbine powered aircraft, including troubleshooting, engine changes, and other repairs at customer sites.

The ideal candidate holds an A&P license, can travel 70–90%, and communicates clearly with customers. Based in the United States, you will join a team that ensures airworthiness and release to service following maintenance work.

Qualifications

• Must hold an A&P license with strong aircraft engine knowledge
• College degree or technical vocational training
• Proficient in English; strong written and verbal communication
• Must possess hand tools and a valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the US and able to travel 70–90%

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engines and related accessories in the field
• Perform engine changes and install powerplants and related components
• Ensure airworthiness determinations and release to service
• Monitor tooling calibrations and maintain compliance with manufacturer specs
• Communicate effectively with customers and document work performed
• Demonstrate PC proficiency (MS Word/Excel) as required
