Job summary

Alvest Equipment Services (AES) is seeking a skilled GSE mechanic based at Tampa International Airport, FL. You will diagnose and repair diverse ground support equipment, including tow tractors, belt loaders, and deicers, while ensuring safety, documentation, and quality standards.

The role requires 1–4 years in mechanical/hydraulic/HVAC systems, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. ASE certifications are a plus; flight benefits and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years' experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems.
• Diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair background.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a valid driver's license.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• English language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
