Job summary

Alvest Equipment Services (AES) is seeking Ground Support Equipment mechanics to diagnose, repair and maintain a broad range of GSE equipment including tow tractors, belt loaders, and refueling trucks. You will follow service bulletins, perform diagnostics, and update maintenance records.

The role requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and HVAC troubleshooting skills with a safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–4 years of service repair experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC and HVAC experience.
Associate degree or vocational certification/training may substitute for years of experience.
Minimum 1–2 years repairing and maintaining Mobile Heavy Equipment; diesel-powered vehicles experience preferred.
Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to read repair manuals, diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and electrical discrepancies on GSE systems.
Inspect, repair, rebuild/overhaul components to OEM specifications.
Disassemble components, inspect quality factors, and reassemble.
Perform Preventative Maintenance and document actions in MIS.
Participate in continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
