Job summary

TLD America is seeking an Area Service Technician to represent the company to customers, perform troubleshooting, service repairs, service bulletins, and training classes for GSE products used in aviation ramps.

Must have at least 2 years of repair and maintenance experience on vehicles or equipment, good mechanical and electrical knowledge, ability to lift over 50 pounds, valid driver's license, and strong written and spoken English. Willingness to work in all weather and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years repairing vehicles, equipment and components.
• Experience with diesel powered vehicles preferred.
• Able to lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.
• Basic hand tools required to perform tasks.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and automotive knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Perform repairs and adjustments to equipment components and systems.
• Prepare reports and follow up on trouble tickets.
• Organize work and interact with customers.
• Inspect, repair and/or overhaul electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
