Job summary

Sun Test Systems Inc. is seeking a Production Test Technician in Huntsville, AL to perform post-production testing on Aviation Ground Power Unit systems. You will execute test procedures, operate equipment, document results, and support quality and engineering teams to ensure only validated units ship to customers.

The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and compliance with 5S and quality procedures while supporting program requirements for defense customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical training, associate degree, or equivalent experience in electronics, electrical or mechanical fields preferred.
2+ years of production testing, functional testing, inspection, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and test procedures.
Ability to use basic electrical, mechanical, and electronic test equipment.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to meet program requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform post-production functional testing of AGPU systems and related equipment.
Conduct final acceptance testing and performance verification prior to release.
Verify equipment operation, workmanship, and conformance to requirements.
Document test results and deviations in approved forms.
Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
