Job summary

Piedmont Airlines in Vermont seeks a Shift Manager, Ground Handling to support Station Management in daily operations, labor relations, safety, and security. You will oversee staff, review reports, and ensure adherence to policies while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires familiarity with FAA regulations and security programs; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; and a proven ability to lead teams, plan resources, and coach staff to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as a team lead in an aviation setting.
• Familiarity with FAA and Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program regulations.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and support staff.
• Strong MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with station labor relations, operations efficiencies, maintenance, facilities, safety, and security.
• Oversee daily operations with customer and company goals in mind.
• Coach and develop staff to improve performance and service.
• Correct non-compliant behavior and apply disciplinary action as required.
• Implement corporate policies into daily work routines.
• Manage a staff with varied duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and records.
