Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a Lead Fueler to oversee safe, efficient fueling of aircraft and Ground Support Equipment at the airport. This position leads fueling teams, ensures safety and aviation standards, conducts quality checks, and coordinates with airline and maintenance staff to minimize delays.

Flexible shifts and outdoor work are required. Applicants should have strong English communication, the ability to operate on tablets and computers, and willingness to undergo

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Prior Aircraft/GSE Fueler experience preferred.
• Ability to access information on electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile Devices).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible for required credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, as applicable).
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead fueling operations, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Coordinate fueling tasks and ensure proper staffing and coverage
• Fuel aircraft and GSE (hydrant trucks, fuel trucks, tanker trucks, tugs, belt loaders)
• Ensure accurate fuel quantities and proper fuel balancing during refueling
• Conduct daily equipment inspections for cleanliness and readiness
• Perform quality control checks and resolve discrepancies
• Address emergencies, including spills and equipment malfunctions
• Maintain records of fueling transactions and fuel usage
• Assist in training new fueling staff on safety and procedures
• Collaborate with airline personnel to ensure on-time departures
• Monitor fueling equipment performance and safety compliance
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety regulations
