Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring Aviation Fuelers to support safe and efficient aircraft refueling at the airport. You will operate fuel trucks, connect hoses, perform quantity checks, monitor equipment, and respond to emergencies with proper safety procedures.

You will keep records, coordinate with airline personnel, and inspect equipment to ensure readiness for departure. Position requires lifting up to 70 pounds, outdoor work in varying weather, and flexibility for 24/7 shifts,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to access and interpret information on print and electronic devices.
• Able to communicate with colleagues and clients in person and electronically.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible to acquire needed credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs).
• Airlines operate 24/7; must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently conduct fueling operations.
• Maintain accurate fueling transaction records.
• Perform daily quality control inspections on equipment.
• Use fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircraft.
• Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel.
• Conduct defueling procedures as required.
• Exhibit reliable attendance.
• Work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
• Fuel Ground Service Equipment (Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, Belt Loaders).
• Uphold PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
