Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring Aircraft Fuelers to safely refuel aircraft at the airport, operate fuel trucks, connect hoses, and monitor the refueling process per safety guidelines.

You will perform fuel quantity checks, review equipment performance, address emergencies, and keep detailed records while collaborating with airline personnel to ensure departures are on time and safely managed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to access information on print and electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile).
• Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients in person and electronically.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire FAA, TSA, Port Authority, and U.S. Customs credentials/clearances.
• Airlines operate 24/7; must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently conduct fueling operations.
• Maintain accurate fueling records.
• Perform daily equipment quality control inspections on equipment.
• Utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircraft.
• Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel.
• Conduct defueling procedures as required.
• Exhibit consistent and dependable attendance.
• Work outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and weather.
• Responsible for fueling Ground Service Equipment (Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, Belt Loaders).
• Demonstrate PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
