Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking an Aircraft Fueler to support safe, efficient refueling operations at the airport. You will operate fuel trucks, connect hoses, monitor the process, and keep precise fuel records to ensure aircraft are ready for departure.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to aviation guidelines. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, correct loading, and defueling as needed, while maintaining strong communication with airline personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently conduct fueling operations.
• Maintain accurate records of fueling transactions.
• Perform daily quality control inspections on equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircrafts.
• Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel.
• Conduct defueling procedures as required.
• Exhibit consistent and dependable attendance.
• Work outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather.
• Responsible for fueling various Ground Service Equipment such as Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, and Belt Loaders.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
