Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Fueler to oversee safe and efficient aircraft and Ground Support Equipment fueling at the airport.

You will lead fueling teams, perform quality checks, manage schedules, and respond to emergencies while coordinating with airline and maintenance staff. The role requires 18+ years of age, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and holidays, in a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Able to access and interpret information on electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible for FAA/RAIC/TSA/Port Authority credentials as applicable.
• Willing to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead fueling operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate fueling tasks and staffing for operations.
• Fuel aircraft and GSE (hydrant trucks, fuel trucks, tankers, tugs, belt loaders).
• Ensure accurate fuel quantities and proper fuel balancing.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections for cleanliness and readiness.
• Perform quality control checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Address emergencies like spills and equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain records of fueling transactions and usage.
• Assist in training new fueling staff on safety procedures.
• Collaborate with airline personnel to ensure timely fueling for departures.
