Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking an experienced Flight Coordinator to serve as the central contact for aircraft scheduling between clients, flight crews, and maintenance personnel. The role involves arranging all services for scheduled trips and providing detailed itineraries while ensuring safety, regulatory adherence, and top-tier client service.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, meetings, and travel arrangements.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and flight planning principles.
• Ability to quickly learn Solairus planning and scheduling software and policies.
• Well organized and meticulous; able to prioritize work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive trip requests from clients and schedule aircraft.
• Provide clients with flight itineraries for each trip.
• Communicate all schedule information to clients, flight crews and maintenance personnel.
• Arrange trip logistics (hotels, rental cars, catering, ground transport).
• Coordinate permits, slots, ground handling, security and customs for domestic/international trips.
• Assist crew with visas and international entry requirements.
• Provide flight following and ensure support services per schedule.
• Monitor duty time compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Maintain client and crew contact databases for assigned accounts.
