Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager to lead a flight department at the KMMU airport. The CAM will oversee crew scheduling, training coordination, and regulatory compliance, while upholding Solairus' culture of service, safety, and integrity.

Candidates should have extensive flight-time, leadership experience, and the ability to manage client accounts, budgets, and operations. Must be located within 2 hours of KMMU or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Total time: 3000 hours.
• PIC (Pilot in Command) 1500 hours.
• MEL 1500 hours.
• MEL PIC 500 hours.
• Turbo Jet time 500 hours.
• Instrument time 250 hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus, FAA and other manuals and regulations.
• Monitors personal appearance and conduct to meet high standards.
• Maintains current read and file of all memorandums.
• Coordinates and reviews crew training with training contractor.
• Coordinates maintenance flights not in client scheduling system.
• Develops scheduling procedures with clients for reliable aircraft scheduling.
• Approves and schedules PTO for assigned personnel.
• Updates flight coordinator on schedule changes and matters affecting scheduling.
• Conducts meetings to coordinate activities and promote goodwill.
• Approves expense accounts for assigned personnel.
• Participates in interview processes for operations staff.
• Solicits Client Responsible Officer input for major issues.
• Submits written reports as required by Operations Manuals.
• Revises manuals and publications as needed.
• Maintains training currency and flight time records per Solairus FOM.
• Ensures timely submission of training records, medicals, and data to flight ops.
• Promotes customer goodwill and Solairus Aviation reputation.
• Participates in SMS implementation and related activities.
