Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of all possible tasks within their Technical Area.
• Skills broadly applied in multiple Technical Areas.
• Performs complex assignments requiring analysis of multiple factors.
• Proficient in riveting, hardware installation, and use of precision instruments.
• Able to fabricate parts.
• Reads work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine procedures.
• Repairs aircraft body or structure per specifications.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, their design, use, and maintenance.
• Proficient with air-powered hand tools and related equipment.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and costs.
• Ability to work different shifts and flexible hours.
• Adheres to OSHA, EPA, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assembles electronic and mechanical modules and subassemblies per drawings.
• Uses hand/power tools, jigs, and saws to build components.
• Performs in-process continuity checks on work.
• Inspects parts per quality specifications.
• Disassembles, repairs, and tests prototype assemblies.
• Follows FAA-approved procedures and OEM data.
• Positions parts in jigs using blueprint lines.
• Inspects finished work for rework needs.
• Conducts serviceability tests with specified equipment.
• Completes FAA/work package documentation.
• Submits work for QA certification.
