Job summary

Embraer, a leading aviation manufacturer, is seeking a Journeyman Technician to perform a range of production assembly and flight preparation tasks. You will analyze processes, support training for new operators, and assist in process improvement within a safety and quality-driven environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing assembly of electronic and mechanical subassemblies, and coordinating with QA and manufacturing engineering.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; A&P experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and work instructions.
• 2–5+ years in assembly, mechanical, electrical, or aircraft structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic and mechanical subassemblies.
• Follow FAA-approved assembly procedures and OEM data.
• Perform quality checks and document work packages.
• Troubleshoot component replacement and failures with QA/ME teams.
• Disassemble/modify/rework prototype assemblies as needed.
• Operate hand/power tools and precision instruments safely.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA/EPA/state/federal regulations.
