Job summary

Acara Solutions, a premier recruiting and workforce solutions provider, seeks an Assembly Technician in Melbourne, FL to build, modify, test, and inspect mechanical and electronic assemblies from FAA/OEM procedures.

Work from detailed drawings, use hand tools and test equipment, and ensure airworthiness standards are met in a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri) on-site role. Requires a High School Diploma and 10 years of aircraft assembly experience. Background check and ITAR compliance apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance or aircraft assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, test, and inspect mechanical and electronic assemblies and subassemblies from detailed drawings and FAA/OEM-approved procedures.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and work packages to guide assembly.
• Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, jigs and fixtures to complete assembly and testing.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure tolerances and airworthiness.
• Document work packages and submit to Quality Assurance for inspection and certification.
