Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, in Wichita, KS seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide expert technical support for lithium-ion aircraft batteries, power conversion and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot complex issues and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, supporting installation and operation, developing technical sales materials, and coordinating with QA/Engineering for root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aviation support and troubleshooting in a customer-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and fault isolation.
• Experience in testing/inspecting avionics and electrical systems.
• Familiar with FAA FAR and aviation certification concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose customer issues and determine actions to reach resolution.
• Serve as primary technical interface for installation, configuration, operation, and management of products.
• Assist in developing technical sales materials for meetings and events.
• Monitor field data for reliability trends and coordinate root-cause analysis with QA/Engineering.
• Track and manage support cases and maintain records of communications.
• Participate in industry trade shows as required.
• Travel up to 15% to meet business needs.
