Job summary

City of Phoenix Aviation Department seeks an Aviation Supervisor II to lead Landside Maintenance teams at Sky Harbor. You will oversee facilities, safety, and vendor coordination, ensuring efficient operations 24/7 and rapid response to emergencies.

The role requires strong leadership, budget awareness, and excellent communication. Work hours typically 3:00am–12:00pm, with scheduling adjustments as needed at Sky Harbor.

Qualifications

• Three years in airport activities with at least one year in a supervisor role.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, budgets, and staffing.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills; familiarity with SAP and xPort.

Responsibilities

• Inspects facilities and arranges repairs.
• Investigates and resolves complaints.
• Monitors contractor performance against contracts and scope of work.
• Supports during aircraft emergencies and EOC activations.
• Prepares performance evaluations and other admin duties.
