Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an Electronic Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems in a fast-paced plant environment. You will work with automated equipment, robotics, servo systems, and process equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, root cause analysis, and collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Vocational/technical training in electrical or electronics, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and control systems.
• Experience with PLC-based systems and I/O diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures using root cause analysis.
• Support PLC-based systems and perform I/O diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot robotics, servo systems, PID loops, sensors, relays, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Install, modify, and validate electrical wiring and control components.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance and maintain records in SAP/CMMS.
