Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. The role covers mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, electrical, and general facility maintenance to maximize reliability, safety, and performance.

The position supports aviation safety and reliability, with opportunities to contribute to lean initiatives and TPM programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding technical documentation).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical circuitry.
• Minimum welding, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance systems.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment and facility systems.
• Establish and follow PM schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, flow diagrams, and one-line drawings to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Apply maintenance-related mathematical formulas to solve area, volume, amperes, ohms, watts, etc.
• Perform facility repairs including drywall, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and irrigation maintenance.
• Regularly inspect assigned equipment and address maintenance needs.
• Document maintenance actions and communicate with team members.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and TPM initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Perform additional facility maintenance tasks as needed.
