Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated electronic equipment in an aerospace manufacturing setting. You will diagnose complex issues, implement corrective actions, and help improve safety, reliability, and performance of critical systems.

In this role, you will read schematics, work with PLCs, CNCs, robotics, and automation, and support preventive and predictive maintenance while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Technical degree, certificate, or formal training in a related field.
• Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience with PLCs: Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi.
• Experience with CNC, robotics, or automated manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation or process controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose issues involving PLCs, CNC machines, robotics, drives, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify root causes and resolve equipment failures.
• Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Restore equipment to safe operating condition while minimizing downtime.
• Troubleshoot integrated electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, controls modifications, and automation projects.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of industrial instrumentation and control devices.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment history within the CMMS.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to fellow maintenance team members.
• Follow all safety, Lockout/Tagout, and aerospace quality requirements.
