Job summary

Sinclair Community College seeks an Aviation Dispatch adjunct faculty member for the Dayton, OH area to teach in our FAA Dispatch program. The role involves delivering course content, maintaining records, and adhering to department policies. This position is open to Ohio residents and highly values industry certifications and prior teaching experience.

The starting pay is $1,046 per credit hour taught. Applicants should reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky or be able to work within these states,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field, or equivalent Tested Experience.
• Five years of related field experience and/or college teaching experience.
• FAA ratings/licensure requirements or professional certifications to teach the content.

Responsibilities

• Maintain our FAA Part 65 Dispatch program.
• Maintain required records.
• Teach curriculum developed by the department and plan instruction.
• Prepare and provide syllabi for assigned sections.
• Employ teaching strategies and use instructional technology.
