Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field required.
• FAA license, credential, or certification required to teach content.
• Five years of related field experience or teaching experience preferred.
• Industry experience preferred.
• Experience with modern educational technology encouraged.
• Effective communication in a community college environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the FAA Part 65 Dispatch program.
• Maintain FAA records.
• Teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize learning.
• Prepare syllabi for all assigned sections per policies.
• Use appropriate teaching strategies and instructional technology.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Submit final grade rosters by deadlines.
