Job summary

Wayman-College-of-Aeronautics seeks a Dispatcher to support Flight Operations by coordinating daily dispatching, student check-in, aircraft assignments, and schedule updates. You will liaise with students, instructors, Maintenance, and Operations to ensure safe, efficient training in line with policies and aviation regulations.

The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, strong customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• Strong reading and writing in English.
• Familiarity with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations preferred.
• Experience in aviation operations, scheduling, dispatch, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily aircraft dispatching and student check-in.
• Assign aircraft to students and instructors based on priorities and availability.
• Coordinate ramp-out/in of training activities.
• Communicate with Maintenance about aircraft status and squawks.
• Maintain organized dispatch area and ensure supplies.
• Monitor schedules, convey updates, delays or changes.
