Job summary

Bell Flight at Pax River, MD is seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation Technician to support wiring, installation, calibration, and data acquisition for test aircraft. You will work with IPTs to ensure safe flight operations and accurate post-test data analysis.

The role requires an Associate degree in electronics or avionics and a minimum of 3 years in related work, with the ability to travel up to 25% and obtain a DoD SECRET clearance. Competitive benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics or avionics required.
• Minimum 3 years in flight test instrumentation or avionics preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install instrumentation systems on test aircraft and support ADAS operations.
• Calibrate and checkout hardware; troubleshoot instrumentation during tests.
• Fabricate electrical boxes and assist with wiring and cable assembly.
• Provide guidance to technicians and maintain test data integrity.
• Document work and maintain inventory for flight test instrumentation.
