Textron is seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation Technician in Patuxent River, MD to design, install, operate, and maintain data acquisition systems for V-22 tiltrotor testing with USMC/USN programs. You will work with IPTs, calibrate hardware, and support real-time data collection for post-test analysis.

The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and leadership within a challenging flight-test environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field; trade school or equivalent experience may substitute.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in flight test instrumentation or avionics.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and obtain DoD SECRET clearance.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute multiple flight test projects within approved guidelines to ensure safe operations.
• Install instrumentation systems on test aircraft and support calibration and checkout of hardware.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade ADAS and related instrumentation.
• Provide guidance to technicians on instrumentation installations and repairs.
• Document work and maintain inventory for instrumentation equipment.
