Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an experienced paramedic to deliver high-quality pre-hospital advanced life support in a helicopter EMS program. You will assess, triage, and treat patients, maintain documentation, and stay current with required certifications while supporting safety and efficient mission execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in busy 911, EMT-P license, and strong communication skills; willingness to work a flexible schedule including on-call

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience or training
  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred
  • Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care transfer; document thoroughly.
  • Maintain competency through ongoing education and training; communicate educational needs to supervision.
  • Attend pre-mission briefings/debriefings; assist in liftoff checklists and with pilots as needed; ensure safety standards.
