Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Manager, Crew Scheduling to lead the crew scheduling department, overseeing supervisors and schedulers while developing training programs. The role requires airline flight operations experience and strong communication skills.

You will implement new software, forecast coverage, manage staffing, and ensure CFR compliance. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Operational Strategy and offers opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to work with all levels of management and support staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flight Operations Suite software experience.
• Airline flight operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the crew scheduling supervisors and their assigned duties and schedules.
• Ensure the crew scheduling desks are consistently staffed appropriately.
• Ensure the crew schedulers and crew scheduling supervisors are paid correctly.
• Ensure CFR and company procedures are followed.
• Apply safety risk management and SMS principles.
• Help implement new software and technology in crew scheduling.
• Forecast crew coverage outlook and daily operations related to crew staffing.
• Implement irregular operations plans related to crew scheduling.
• Coordinate with other departments as required.
• Oversee crew scheduling training curriculum and records.
