Job summary

Air Transport International is seeking a Crew Scheduler to refine and implement short and middle range crew schedules for ATI aircraft, maintaining positive communication with crews and ensuring compliance with FARs and collective bargaining agreements.

The role requires accurate documentation, proactive recovery planning for irregular operations, and coordination with multiple internal departments to optimize crew utilization and minimize costs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or high school diploma with relevant work experience.
• One year scheduling experience or related aviation/customer service experience.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking; able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple variables and priorities with sound judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication with crewmembers and departments.
• Familiarity with global time zones and basic time calculations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and aviation software.

Responsibilities

• Refine and implement the short and middle range crew schedule for ATI aircraft.
• Maintain positive communication with crews about schedule changes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable FARs and CBAs in all crew scheduling practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding crew schedules, legalities, CBAs, and internal processes.
• Maximize crew capacity and plan for coverage changes due to unforeseen circumstances; develop recovery options for irregular operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments affecting crew scheduling (Crew Planning, Travel, Maintenance, System Control, Flight Following, Finance, Training).
• Communicate operational and crew issues to Senior Crew Schedulers, Manager of Crew Scheduling, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations.
• Establish a positive baseline relationship with flight crews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
