Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage, and execute complex projects nationwide. You will oversee material and equipment, support people management, and ensure timely, profitable completion in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role requires leading safety culture, coordinating with owners, design teams, and authorities, and managing budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple sites. Travel is 100% across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years construction experience with 3+ years of field supervision.
• Lean principles experience; aviation project experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 100% across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project safety culture and ensure a safe work environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and program compliance (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate project site care, custody, and control.
• Lead daily standups and weekly trade meetings; participate in OAC meetings.
• Manage project schedule and contribute to budget tracking and cost reports.
• Ensure quality through specifications, QA/QC and external resources.
