Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls in Valencia, CA, is seeking a Repair & Overhaul Service Technician I (ECS) to perform disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly of aircraft components. Duties include interpreting CMMs, drawings, and schematics; using hand tools and precision instruments; and documenting labor time.

Extensive training provided; overtime may be required. Applicants should have 1–2 years of electro-mechanical accessory experience or be a trained graduate, and must pass the required

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting CMMs, part drawings, schematics and specs.
• 1-2 years electro-mechanical accessory experience; graduates considered.
• Able to pass DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol test and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Interpret CMMs, drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to meet drawings.
• Build, test and overhaul aircraft components and sub-assemblies.
• Clean, assemble, disassemble, and replace parts as required.
• Record labor time and inspect parts for cleanliness and flaws.
• Send repaired products to test or QA final inspection.
